*****SCAMMER ALERT*****
Be Educated to protect yourself
One of the oldest scams is a breeder will have bulldogs
that are Registered true english bulldogs with the AKC or the CKC , they are the short stocky ones and also have
olde English Bulldogees that looks alot like the english bulldogs but their not even reconized by the AKC or the CKC ..There
is a difference and it's in size, shape, personalities everything is different it's thought to be the olde english Bulldogee
is a cross breed between the English Bulldog and its cousin the American Bulldog or possibly even Pitbull, so make sure
you do your research on the breed and don't be afraid to ask for registration papers of the parents..
I have had several people tell me they puchased the wrong type
of dog...thinking they are english bulldogs, Once you purchase that pup... you would have to take matters to court.. to be
refunded..misrepresentation of this breed is a crime, and also fraud.
These people, will say YES it's an english bulldog..and
it's not..Its basically a MUTT...mixed breed..this person cares nothing about the breed
(english Bulldogs) and are just trying to make quick
dollars.. thinking you won't know the difference since you just want a pet....So it's always in the buyers best interest to
ask to see papers. to make sure you are purchasing what you truly want..They don't care what you want !!! they just want their
puppies sold, these people are known as scam artist and back yard breeders that will breed anything to anything to make money
....so know the difference and ask ..Any astablished breeder is willing to show you documents of their lines and dogs ...Make
sure you know they are purbreds and Not mixed breeds ...When they are small they resemble the english bulldog pups, but when
they grow they are totally different looking.
thanks Kathy
Also ...known registries are the AKC(American Kennel Club),
CKC (Canadian Kennel Club)
and the UKC (United Kennel Club)
please know there is a CKC in the states it stands for the Continental
Kennel Club, it's not the CKC here in Canada, nor is it reconized by the CKC(canadian kennel club)

Subject: English Bulldog For Adoption
Date: Mon, 17 Sep 2007 07:12:56 -0700 (PDT)
MY NAME IS REV. JAMES, I AND MY WIFE ARE ON A CHRISTIAN
MISSION TO AFRICA AND WE CAME ALONG WITH ENGLISH BULLDOG PUPPY, AFTER A WHILE WE
NOTICED THAT THE AFRICAN WEATHER IS NOT GOOD FOR THE PUPPY AND WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO
TAKE GOOD CARE OF HER THE WAY
WE ALWAYS DO BECAUSE OF OUR JOB.
WE NEED SOMEONE TO ADOPT HER AND TAKE CARE OF HER THE WAY WE ALWAYS DO.
IF YOU CAN
TAKE GOOD CARE OF HER DO SEND A REPLY AND I WILL EMAIL YOU HER PICTURES AND OTHER DETAILS ABOUT HER.
I HOPE TO READ FROM
YOU.
REGARDS,
JAMES
here is my reply
dear rev james you should be ashamed of yourself ... for 1.. for using GODS name in your fraud business and trying
to steal money from innocent people who are just looking for a pup ...
2 well i know where your going to end up in the end and you think africa is HOT.. laughs i hope the pits of hell
.. you find very warming
3 you make it very hard for actual breeders to sell their pups that they actually breed and have on line
4 its people like you ....that I hope get caught and you so deserve it !!!
5 you emailed the wrong person JERK i'm a breeder and your scam is over done like a song played to much
6 how can you rest at nite knowing you stoled from families who actually work for a living and have children??
7 i have sent your email to on line fraud department i hope they catch you !!
8 smiles ... more and more people are catching on to this and at some point .. your emails are going to be worthless time
spent on your behalf .
Please use common sense when it comes to purchasing a bulldog
puppy ..the old saying, it sounds too good to be true is basically how it is..especially this time of year.. They will
try just about anything to make money from the wonderful hearts like yourself looking for a bulldog puppy..
the ads I have seen are English bulldog puppies free to good
home you just have to pay for shipping is one of the main ones... you send them the shipping money you'll never see a
puppy... another one is English bulldog puppies champion sire 350.00 450.00 or 550.00 ... you send money you'll never
see a puppy ...or this one christian family having to sadly place their loving family bully babies in a new homes because
they have to move AND the last one is they have different puppy pictures that don't even belong to them....they have STOLEN
them off another site or ad .. so please becareful ...These are simply INTERNET scams... if you contact these
people they will tell you what you want to hear, but I promise you ... they don't even have or own bulldogs... at this time
of year, get them to put the puppies on a camera or get a special pic that you request ...like the puppy by a candy cane or
get them to add something only you would think of a pop can a cup turned a special way get them to write on a
piece of paper your name is the best way have that placed by the puppy or actually seeing the puppy on camera or in person
if possible ...there are ways to protect yourself and any good responsible breeder will understand your reasons
and work with you to make sure you do feel safe...
If in doubt ..back out!!!
Take care n protect yourself Kathy
FOR LOVE OR MONEY
Since I have had English Bulldogs my entire life..When I was little,
you hardly seen them..If you were lucky you might of came across someone walking one..maybe once a year...You just never seen
them back than ...
Now, You see them all the time, I love the fact...there are so many
more of them...But I also see the difference in each one of them as well....I also see alot of People trying to get into this
breed....as a money making thing...
Than I have had a couple state to me ..WOW you must make
alot of money off your puppies...
These People have no idea, What it is to breed Bulldogs...and
I ask them There is money in this? Where?
I don't know about you but, But to me Money making...is when you
work a full week and come home tired and with a small pay check weekly!!...Oh I so remember those days ...25 years of
those days...
This is a passion of mine A LOVE... I'm not in this to make money,
I would like some day to break even from everything I have invested...But I can't see that for many years to come that's
if it's even possible, if I ever do break even...since weekly I'm investing more in the care and up keep of my bullies...and
I'm also sorry I can't put a price on my heartache as well...I have
gone through...In the loss of puppies...How is there a profit in this?
There isn't and the ones that try to get in this to make money ...Your
in this for the wrong reasons and you'll find out the hard way ...It's going to cost you LARGE..
Things to think about as a breeder and costs..If I ever told you
what I have invested in my family bully members, you would all think I'm nuts..But I'm about to try to do this
so when you think 2500.00 is alot of money for healthy awesome temperament to the standard bullies... It wont look so bad!!!
OK in my bullies I have invested over
70 000.00 and this amount grows weekly... this includes my bullies, their
food, treats, vet bills and daily care of my bullies just to name a few things ...So just letting you know...I have had 5
litters and sold 8 puppies
WOW... I'm really making the money (laughs)
Somethings are more important to people than money ..I want to produce
puppies that will live longer ...No health issues, and that are to the standard...This goal I hope to obtain at some point
in my life time but I know it's not going to happen with in the next few years..But It will happen and when it does...You
tell me how much that should cost,,To me that will be priceless!!
I realize, I have to have the good with the bad
and the loss of babies is the bad part...But something you should
know about as well...
I'm a very honest person...This has it's good points and bad...I
tell you everything... I hide nothing, I'm not a breeder...that claims to know everything..or have perfect litters every time..
This is a learning experience to me, every litter is different,
just like each bulldog..I try to produce healthy babies, But you never know the out come until they are here!!
I realize, In fact I think I'm the only breeder that has put on
their site their loss of babies..I don't know if this is suppose to be hush hush and breeders don't talk about this.
I don't know the answer to that!! I'm not like most breeders,
But I know everyone one of them have or will have their losses, just like me only difference is I have told you about them.
When you are looking at purchasing a bulldog puppy from anyone...Maybe
think, about what that breeder has gone through during that litter or the one before or the one to come,
They are attached to those babies from first sight and they go through
alot of emotions and physical strain from lack of sleep, worrying, and taking care of that litter and the mom...
To lose one is like losing one of your own and you'll find how easy
it is to get attached to one once you are owned by one!!
I totally respect every breeder that is in this for the betterment
of the breed!!
May God Bless you ALL
